Legislation to support tele-work and reduce traffic

Agree with this completely.  The technology is there to allow people to work remotely with effectiveness.  The benefits of enabling this in terms of work life balance, reduction of traffic and carbon emissions is potentially huge.  The challenge is cultural in many organisations, but a push from legislation would help to start the change process.

Myślę, że chodzi raczej o inicjatywy niż prawodawstwo. Ideą, lecz pracodawcy i pracownicy muszą mieć uzasadnione powody, by go przyjąć. Na przykład wydajność, niższe koszty, więcej czasu osobistego itp. Można jednak poszerzyć pomysł i zwiększyć płynące z niego korzyści. Jeśli pracownik może pracować zdalnie, to dlaczego nie odbywa się to z miejsca w Europie Południowej, gdzie wydatki na ogrzewanie i utrzymanie są niższe niż w miejscu zamieszkania, przynajmniej przez część roku? Zanim odrzucisz pomysł, sprawdź, ile energii zużywa się na ogrzewanie, energię elektryczną itp. w Europie Środkowej i Północnej. Istnieją dalsze korzyści, takie jak większe poczucie bycia Europejczykiem, zmiana „klimatu osobistego”, być może mniejsza potrzeba podróżowania na wakacjach i wiele innych.
