Legislation to support tele-work and reduce traffic

Agree with this completely.  The technology is there to allow people to work remotely with effectiveness.  The benefits of enabling this in terms of work life balance, reduction of traffic and carbon emissions is potentially huge.  The challenge is cultural in many organisations, but a push from legislation would help to start the change process.

Manau, kad tai daugiau iniciatyvų, o ne teisės aktų klausimas. Pagrįsta idėja, tačiau darbdaviai ir darbuotojai turi turėti pagrįstų priežasčių ją priimti. Pavyzdžiui, produktyvumas, mažesnės sąnaudos, didesnis asmeninis laikas ir t. t. Vis dėlto šią idėją galima išplėsti ir padidinti jos naudą. Jei darbuotojas gali dirbti nuotoliniu būdu, kodėl nebūna iš Pietų Europos vietos, kurioje šildymo ir gyvenimo išlaidos yra mažesnės nei jų gyvenamojoje vietoje, bent jau dalį metų? Prieš atmesdami idėją, patikrinkite, kiek energijos naudojama šildymui, elektros energijai ir kt. Vidurio ir Šiaurės Europoje. Yra ir kitų privalumų, pavyzdžiui, geresnis jausmas būti europiečiu, „asmeninio klimato“ pokytis, turbūt mažesnis poreikis keliauti atostogomis ir daug daugiau.
