Care, Dignity, Choice aims to change the shameful narrative regarding abortion and the access to medical care associated with it. We call on the Commission decriminalise abortion and related care.
It is widely known that removing access to safe abortions does not stop abortions from taking place, but only results in more unsafe abortions. Under the European Charter of Human Rights, everyone has the right to physical and mental integrity. The European Union should take urgent action to facilitate citizens' access to safe abortion and related healthcare.
