I don't aim to make a kind of dictatorial statement. Further, I suggest to keep the highest democratic standards where tolerance and freedom are fundamental values. My point is to replace a paradoxal statement for other one prettier and that makes more sense. Today the statement "united in diversity" means geographical and linguistical diversity. In other words, it means we are a lot of countries united but there is differencies between each country that have to be highly respected.
Therefore, it means that we are a union but still we don't want to be a union. It is like someone said:
- we'll make a union but in a way nobody will notice
It is ridiculous! So instead of that let's say that we are commited to do a European Union by accepting that the geographical diversity is now less as we thought before. Let's say that there is not much of that geographical diversity and we are ready now to join in a single European People that has no geographical diversity and no internal borders anymore to separate parts of the single and unique European People.
However our EUROPEAN UNION will be founded in the respect of all kind of diversity of individuals such as gender, religion, sexual orientation, physical appearance, and so on. Further, the European Union will give value to that wealth of individual diversity inside the whole territory of the European Union.
If you want to visualize this idea look at the United States of America. In Colorado and Florida are living the same American people that made of white, black, hispanic and native American individuals.
In other words, either we want the European Union or we want separated countries but if we want the European Union the we should not be afraid to say the truth:
We want to unite all singles countries in only ONE for the ONE European people
