Private lobbies are numerous in Brussels and influential. NGO's are struggling to sustain their financial independance. Project funding is important but to have NGOs answer those calls, financing their own existance is just needed (salaries, electricity, bills,..) The Commission has withdrawn operating grants for NGOs in the health fund. The path seems to darken for them. We call for an EU that ensure democratic debate by enabling NGO's to develop and participate in discussion.
Financial independance for NGO's must be garantee by the EU. Let our money strengthen the democracy !
