Initiate a Europe wide Ban on Chewing Gum

Chewing gum is made from synthetic rubber, as part of the European goal of reducing the environmental harm caused by plastic, a ban on chewing gum could be introduced. An added immediate benefit to this action would be the visibly cleaner foot paths and streets in every city in Europe.
