Dear Members,
As a recent graduate from the Universitat de Barcelona, I believe one of the most crucial areas the European Citizens' Initiative (ECI) should focus on is bridging the gap between higher education and the modern labor market for young Europeans.
While the EU offers excellent academic standards, many graduates still face significant challenges when transitioning into their first professional roles. I would like to propose an initiative aimed at expanding mandatory, well-funded internship programs, and establishing direct channels between European universities and sustainable industries.
By enhancing cross-border mentorship and creating more unified professional training frameworks, we can ensure that young professionals are fully equipped for the digital and green transition. I would love to hear your thoughts and insights on how we can better support the youth and graduates across all EU member states.
Best regards,
James Rogers
